Hello all,

Since I've been back all my daily internet routines are broken, so I rarely get here anymore! I need to change that.

Tiina, I did get a job at the first place I interviewed. So far it's been good. They are a small company, which means they can be flexible with you when you need them to be. They're letting me working from Finland in Novemeber (I'll be there for about ten days starting on the 20th) and then again December. The flip-side, of course, is I need to get a lot of work done, since there is a lot of work and not too many people to do it. I've enjoyed it, though. After three years on the same project in Finland, I didn't have enough interesting work to make time fly by.

Commuting from Baltimore to Annapolis everyday is tough. It's only 50 minutes, but unlike my 50 minute commute in Helsinki, I can't relax into a book. Or I could, but it would be a short trip. That will be remedied shortly when I move to Arnold. I've agreed to rent a place in a neighborhood called Pines-on-the-Severn. The house is small and fifty years old, but has a nice backyard, is cheap, and well-kept. The local schools are also some of the best in Maryland. Ultimately we'll try and buy in this neighborhood. It's 5.5 miles from my work. There are some great things about the neighborhood, including a community beach, boat ramp, park, and the nearby B & A trail. So, things look good.

The family comes here before New Years. Melina finishes school in December. She will write her thesis here.

I had my first Sim session today. It went unexpectedly well. I hope they all go so smoothly.

Went to Vegas for the weekend. It was a lot of fun. Met my friend and co-worker, Loren Clere, down there. Took a date named Angela, from Timos office. I hear the Blue Man Group is the show to see. We saw a Magician, and a few free shows. It was a good time.

Hello,

My break is nearly complete. It will be nice to finish training. I go back to St. Louis tomorrow.

There was a plane crash out of St Louis. It was Corporate Airlines, who also flies American Connection. They crashed on approach into Kirksville. No one knows why yet.

It has been fun to be on break but I am excited to get back to training.

I have my test tomorrow, and then I have a three week break until simulator. Thursday we are going to start framing the shed. That should be fun. Me and Erek are going to go skydiving on Saturday. Then I have my Psych Review on Tuesday next week to see if I am crazy or not. It will be a busy three weeks.
