Aruba was a good time. I was within 20 miles of South America. I stood on the Southern tip of Aruba and saw Venezuela. It made me itch. I wondered if I need a visa to visit. If the answer is "no" then I regret not taking a boat down there.

Hello from Aruba. It has been a lot of fun. There are some amzing reefs. I have never been snorkeling before and it has been great. Landon has been all over, in Hawaii and Key West, but he says this is some of the best snorkeling he has seen.
The landscape is barren. There are tons of cacti. We went caving and saw many bats. It was cool, there were dozens hanging from the ceiling. It has been fun. I should be home Tuesday night. Lets play a game. By the way, Luke got some great pics in the West Desert. Bye.

Hey Lee, how about Daves number? The concert was amazing last night. What a showman.

Well, we've had our first taste of snow today with an hour long snow this morning. Supposedly there's more on the way this weekend. It's been cold enough all week, but the sunny skies made snow unlikely.
Hope all is well...

Where is everyone?
Luke Bucalo came to visit the last couple days. He has about a week off. We went 4-wheeling with Timo, played games with Mark, and went hunting Coyotes this morning with my friend Ryan Smith. We went out to the West Desert and it was fun. We saw over 20 wild horses. We got some great pictures of some Antelope in the forground and the wild horses in the background. We also got a classic Wild Mustang shot of about 6 in a row, all looking back over there left shoulder. It was cool.
I go to St. Louis tomorrow. I am going to a concert with a friend and then Friday it is on to Aruba.

Hello everyone from Utah. I am going to go out with Maija and her friends tonight. We are meeting around 7PM.
I am excited about my Aruba trip. Landon has suggested we rent a jeep and cruise all over the island. He says it is mainly dirt roads. Talk to everyone later.

If I make it to Finland in January I hope to see those lights.
Monday should be fun. I am home and I was bumped off my Saturday trip so I am looking at a nice break. They can reassign me up until Saturday when I was supposed to go. I find out next Monday or Tuesday what I get for Novembers schedule.
The Us Air trip I just finished was cool. It was a 3 day trip back to back. The first one was smooth and beautiful weather. The second was windy topped off with extreme turbulence and Wind Shear. I lost a good 20 knots of speed on Final today in Pittsburgh and had to go near full power to stay on profile. That was exciting.
Clay wants me to go out to California and fly all those guys around. He says tons of the contractors want to go flying. They are all willing to pay. I just might go out.

Last night I saw a spectacular display of Aurora Borealis. It's not often we get it down here, but it was sure impressive. It was over though really quickly. At first I thought it was Sirkus Finlandia's floodlights going through clouds, but the scintillating blues, reds, greens, etc made me get up and check it out. Within five minutes though the sky was empty again.

Mom, I will try that number. You had it the whole time?
I am in St. Louis tonight. I start my next three day trip tomorrow. I will probably get IOE(training) bumped for my next 4 day. And then I will have 16 days off. The pairings(schedules) for next month have come out. They look okay. I was hoping for better. But there is an overnight in DC, that would be cool. We are going to stay in Pentagon City. Seems a bit far, but... oh well. I bid for the first two weeks of November off. We'll see if I get it.
Talk to everyone later.

Mom I tried calling that number and I left a message, I hope it is Dana's.
I am in Grand Rapids Michigan tonight. There are many stores near by. I am in Suburban dream land. I went and walked through Home Depot, Circuit City, and Barnes and Noble. It has been a good trip. I am flying with a German guy. He lives in Los Alamos, New Mexico and recently married a girl from Fillmore, Utah.
Talk to everyone later.

When we were camping at Topaz a few years back I saw one that split into several pieces. It was pretty amazing, but it sounds like it pales in comparison to the ones you saw.

There was no luck involved in my Puerto Rico victories. I did want to mention that my captain and I were flying the other night and saw the most amazing shooting star ever. We both saw it go from white dot to comet looking thing with a nice tail, then a green comet looking thing and then it broke up into pieces about 5 or so that i could see and was gone shortly thereafter. It was pretty cool. The only other one that can even compare was one that I saw from the Utah Idaho border at the same time Timo saw it from Highland. That one was green too and went forever it seemed. Anyway, Denver was fun. I get to go back to work tomorrow. Goodbye for now.

I am going to Denver tonight. I get into St. Louis late so I called about Car Rentals in Denver and it is $15.07 to rent an economy car. It will be cheaper than a hotel, and I will get to visit Tiina.
